I picked these up for the houses in my Christmas village. No more incandescent bulbs. These LED bulbs allow me the run the lights as long as I want knowing I am using much less power. If you have a Christmas village you need these lights.

I had been replacing 4 amp fuses in my Christmas lights and they kept blowing. Happy to get a larger quantity of 5 amp fuses so it would be easy and cheaper to replace. But to my pleasant surprise, the 5 amp fuse has not blown after a couple of weeks of daily on and off of the lights.

Today Christmas tree lights contain a fuse which blows if you connect more than their rated for. The replacement fuses fit in the plug without any issues or modifications.

When Christmas lights die what do you do? Most people throw the entire lights bundle in the trash. I discovered that there is a fuse in the plug. With a pair of tweezers i took the little old fuse out and replaced it with one of these new ones and saved myself a good amount of money.I buy my colorful Christmas lights at a Goodwill store around Thanksgiving Day at a terrific price but after a few weeks the lights went out. So i replaced the fuse and as already mentioned saved money.
