so i wanted to make a permanent trellis for my Malabar Spinaches as it reseeds itself each year here in my zone. these worked great on connecting 2 runs of wire in parallel to stretch out and make a Diamond Patterned Trellis from 1/8" stainless Steel Wire Rope.

Used the product to hang/secure 1/8" wire rope for exterior string lights. Clips provide adequate clamping pressure to hang light-weight materials - would not recommend for heavy materials. Good value clips for hanging string lights.

My worry with these was that they would be thin and "weak." I couldn't tell from the pictures really; I also couldn't tell how well the little plate would fit into the base and how thick it was. I didn't want to tighten down and find that it sits on the edge of the base and doesn't seat onto the wire/cable. Both pieces are thick enough and the plate fits inside the base so that it "bites" 100% down onto the wire. Also, the little bolt is welded into the base so that when the nut is tightened, the screw doesn't turn, which guarantees that it will tighten down securely.I happy with these.

I needed a couple of these to help me hang a heavy mirror. They are doing the trick and I have plenty left over should I need them for other purposes. Good value.

I used these clips with a 1/8" steel cable suspending a line of cafe lights. 1/8" is the maximum stated cable capacity, but I probably would look for an alternative solution in the future if using that size. The channel becomes very narrow with that size cable, and it doesn't want to bend and stay in place, so it became a two-person job. With a smaller, more flexible cable this should be a good, inexpensive solution. I liked the price. $9 for 20 clips seems okay value, but I wouldn't recommend using the supplied wrench. It stripped as soon as I put much torque on it, so just use a stronger tool from your workshop.

These rope clips are made from sturdy stainless steel which will not corrode in the rain. This makes them just perfect for adjusting my clothes line that is sagging in the middle. They also include a small wrench to enable you to tighten the nut on the rope clip. These are very handy, and I have found other uses for them as well, such as hanging plants.

These are very nice clips for the steel wires. It allows you to adjust the size when needed. A perfect reusable simple solution. I prefer these over crimps for my use case.
