Works well, does produce a lot of smoke. The residue can be a bit hard to get off, but with soap comes off fine.

Works pretty good. Not as much smoke as I'd like but it's OK for a cheap, easy trick or magic/wizard effect.Leaves a residue on your fingers though.

As many reviews state there is a strong odor. Mostly smells like fireworks. Once burned you place the resin left on your fingers and rub. It does produce smoke, not as much as you are led to believe. Nice effect. However, not very practical. Resin is very dark and obvious and does not come off without good hand washing. Again, not very practical for most magicians as you have dark brown finger tips after using, would get all over any gimmicks, props, etc. Like a black/brown resin Tar. Basically, you would have to use as an ending trick. 3 stars as it does work. But only three as it is not as much smoke as led to believe, very strong obvious odor, very obvious due to color, and not very practical. I personally will probably never actually use it in a performance.

My kid always wanted to try out cool magic tric and this thing is awesome. Really cool. It's very easy to use and really works. My 12 yr old had fun performing in front of friends and family. And they all had fun too.
