The hooks are perfect for grandchildren to hang their coats. Sturdy. The selflock is perfect. The only problem is the order is short one hook.

These are very strong hooks. I use them in the kitchen to hold utensils and other items. Additionally, I use them in the garage to hold heavy equipment. I highly recommend them.

These hooks, which came individually wrapped, are just fine for my purpose, which is to use them to hang pots and pans on a pot rack that I have yet to construct. I already have the chrome grid that the hooks will hook into to hang the pots and pans from. Although not “heavy duty†as the product description states (justification for lowering my rating), these seem perfect for that purpose. Pots and pans can be heavy and bulky like the ones I have, but they are not so heavy as to be beyond the capacity of these hooks. (I would consider these hooks to be of medium capacity, at best.) The “safety buckle†seemed a bit fragile and under designed to me, but for my purpose it is only intended to keep the hooks securely attached to the chrome grid and will prevent them from lifting off the grid and falling off when removing a pot or pan. (For some reason I first thought that the safety buckle would snap onto the outer surface of the ring to lock it, but as stated before this design seems to work just fine.)

I love these hooks. They are very versatile and can be used for a number of purposes. I use them most often for hanging cleaning tools from the bottom of wire racks. The clip end hooks easily on the wire rack and the hook works great to holding tools with a lanyard. I also use them for hanging long tool bags with cleaning poles and they hold my tools securely. They can also be used for hanging bird feeders etc.

These didn't really work for what I wanted to use them for (hang extension cords and ropes from the sides of shelving in my barn), but for smaller uses they would work fine. The spring clip is a nice feature. They are of medium duty I would say, not really heavy duty, but I guess that depends on your use of them. Overall they are nice hooks, just make sure the dimensions will work for your intended use.
