Had a couple of louvres that had the ends broken off. Thought about a couple of options but they required taking the whole thing apart. These pins worked perfectly and only took about 30 seconds to install!

My young kids had broken several louvres on our interior plantation shutters over the years and we always assumed that we’d need to hire an installer to come back and fix, so we left them be. One day, I just couldn’t take it anymore so looked up how to fix which led me to these on Amazon. I was skeptical that it was this simple of a fix, but I grabbed a set and sure enough they pop right in with a small flathead! All fixed now and I’ll definitely keep these spares on standby.

Found these little pins for my son's louvers in his living room. His dog pretty much attacked them and destroyed them. They fit close to the original and with a little drilling out the hole was able to repair all of them. Saved him about 2k.

These require a little ingenuity to install if you are replacing pins in a shutter that is still attached. I was able to drill out the old piece and put the new piece in place and use a flat blade to compress the pin until it was over the old hole and then pull the blade out to release the pin. Worked fine.

These spring loaded pins allowed me to reinstall blind slats in less than a minute each. I had knocked out a few when sanding them down prior to refinishing.

Was able to fix six louvre in about ten minutes. Had to make the holes a bit bigger with a drill (be very careful not to make them too big) and used a stanley knife to slip the pin into the hole.
