As a Professional Stage & Lighting Technician, Sound Engineer as well as Audio-Visual Production Specialist I've worked with a Ton of Lighting Equipment including a TON of Pin Spots! Therefore, I'm not your typical user and will give you a professional point of view on this Lighting fixture!I have to say that I was truly pleasantly surprised after I unpacked the Pin Spot, Mounted it on a Truss Clamp and Attached it to One of our Professional Stage Lighting Trusses! It comes with a convenient Remote and has solid R-G-B-W Colors (Red, Green, Bluetooth, White). I wish it came with Amber as well! That would have been ideal especially since it creates its colors by blending R-G-B-W so adding the extra Amber LED would have created better coloring. However, for what the unit offers I can't complain because I've worked with other Pin Spots that only have White and you have to use gels to get the color you want. Therefore, since I'm already getting a solid Red, Green, Blue & White I'm already ahead of the game!Please note that the colors are created via blending so some of the framing of the colors need to be focused via the circle lens ring at the front of the unit! With a few turns you can clean up the blending of the colors and get a perfect circle! There is a slight halo effect due to the color mixing but it's minimal and not noticeable in a real life production situation.Finally some of the newer Pin Spots on the market have DMX Control or Wireless DiFi! This extra feature allows professional Lighting designers like myself to use a DMX Lighting board and have complete control over the Pin Spot including custom blending of colors! However, for what this unit is, it'll work for 99% of the applications for the typical user because most won't and will never know what DMX is or have to deal with it!Back to the remote! I love the remote! It unlocks features such as Fade, Flash, Jump and Pulse! You also have direct access to Blue, Green, Red, White, Yellow, Purple (Looks More Pink) & Cyan, These are actually a lot more features than some of the Professional units I've worked with!I have two ratings for this unit because I'm not your typical average user! As a Lighting Professional I give this unit a Solid 4! However, if I was you average typical user then this unit is definitely a 5!! It has other colors besides white, and offers some Lighting effects that the typical average user will love!This is definitely one of the better & innovative Pin Spots on the market so I definitely give it a Must Buy Rating!!

Two things with this light were just slightly annoying, the remote doesn’t respond well unless you’re perfectly pointed at the unit and when setting up on an angle, the bracket to connect it is very limiting as to how much you can adjust it.

As I cycle through the colors the AC watt consumption is from 2.4 to 3.9 watts. Don't under estimate its performance, I would not dare to look directly into this lamp while on, it is very bright. The plus and minus buttons on the remote alter the speed of color change. If a static color is chosen those buttons alter the lamp intensity.Its construction limits it to indoor use only.That all being said, I am very impressed with the unit.

This is a good spot light. The remote control makes this light user friendly from afar. Each color is controlled by the remote. Matter of fact, I don't think the unit can be worked without the remote. The unit casts a nice round light but I noticed that on particular light when I cast the green light, there is a slight blue shadow around the very edge of the green light. The same blue shadow edges the yellow color as well. All spots can be adjusted by a dimmer. The white spot has no shadowing color. This unit is not rechargeable. It must always be plugged in to a 110V outlet. Also included is mounting hardware for perminant attachment to a wall.
