The ideal thing to use on a dog chain. It prevents the chain from knotting up into balls of chain--which are very difficult to unravel--especially if you have a 96 # German Police dog still in the puppy stage trying to help you with the problem. I use two of these swivels --one at the dog collar and the other at the steel stake in the ground. This prevents all entanglement with her chain lease. Try it, it works great!~

We have two travel cats and we keep them on harnesses and leashes in the car so they can't get to the front and get in the way of driving. When we started we noticed the kids kept twisting their leashes as they moved around the back of the car. I wanted a simple but hefty swivel set up to let them wander without reducing leash-length.This just freakin' works. It is exactly what you see -- and it isn't massive but it isn't small. It's a good medium size. Now the boys are nicely secured to the center of the car by their chain spanning the back, the Double Ended Swivel is centered and their leash handle loops are attached to one end.Better yet, my genius cat who was learning to open the basic ones can't just push the clip down. It screws shut. Sorry Hocus Pocus but I think I win this one!

I am loving this! I need to get another set of clasps a bit larger. We have to keep our dog chained, and or original cable she chewed through so we switched to chain, and she kept kinking it and getting wrapped around the tree. I added this and now she can easily roam the yard without her chain getting shorter.I love the twist lock on the clasps and the swivel holds the dog well. I even use this while on walks, she tangles me up way less too.

I have a 130 lb, 14 month old Mastiff that kept breaking links, chains, cables, etc. Even when I purchased something that indicated it would support his force, it still broke. I've been through multiple clasps, carabiners, etc... I saw this and decided to give it a try. This one has held up! It is heavy but for a dog his size, he can handle it, especially since he is still growing. We have to keep him in a lead because he jumps the fence, effortlessly! I also like the screw feature where there are no accidents with the carabiner coming off. It's a keeper!!!

This was purchased to be sure that the dogs could not accidentally disconnect their runner lead. Works great except that it freezes in below freezing temperatures so can’t be secured by the latch lock. Otherwise, works just like I had hoped. The swivel also works great to keep the lead from tangling.

This item looks exactly like the online image and matches the product description. I ordered several to use outside and they arrived quickly and well packaged. Good value. Terrific heavy duty item.

At this price, I expected something that lacked a bit of polish and didn't operate smoothly. I was wrong. These are very heavy duty, and well-made. We bought them to construct a tether for a large dog when riding in the car (in case of an accident). Note, the swivel is metal on metal, not ball bearings. Still, it turns freely.

No doubt that this is a good product, but the metal-on-metal design was not "sensitive" enough for what it was intended for (cable handles on an exercise machine) . . .
