This style of strip disc works great at stripping paint from a vehicle body (assuming the panel is metal). The Homo Faber strip discs work great, as expected.I ordered these thinking it was nice that there are 4 different colors, assuming that meant there are different "grit" levels. There might be, but there is nothing noted on the discs to indicate if one disc will be more aggressive than another. Visually, other than color, there isn't a noticeable difference, either. This is the reason for my 4 star rating (instead of 5 stars) - it wouldn't be difficult to include a note, or even just a comment on the item description indicating the aggressiveness/grit of each color.The quick install roll-lock style attachment is super convenient and works great with my current air tools. I like that this set includes an adapter to use the roll-lock style fittings in a 1/4" impact driver. With that I can use these on a smaller job that might be further away from my workshop without having to run an air hose all the way.

For those that haven't encountered quick change discs they are the absolute best! The tread on the back of the strip disc twists into the collar securely locking it in place, just the action of sanding helps hold it in place, but a quick counter clockwise twist allows for a transition to the next grit. The kit includes a standard 1/4" round mounting shaft and a 1/4" hex drive shaft for use in a drill, angle grinder or a drill driver so options abound. 4 each of 4 different colored strip discs are included that appear to be varying grits, unfortunately the discs aren't labeled and the product description doesn't specify a difference other than color. I didn't have a chance to try the discs yet, but by the feel of the product I expect them to be aggressive. In my second picture I compared the strip disc to a roloc brand sanding disc and they are interchangeable. I will be using mine with my air angle grinder I already have set up.Just with the initial inspection I'm happy with the quality of the stripping discs and the included hardware. This is really a great addition to the other quick change products I already own, the convenience and ease of use really is a game changer! This is a very professional interchange style system that I have used for years, and it works very well. This is a product I would recommend!

The discs are good, they seem to work as well as any others I've used. Durability is about average. The included arbor is garbage. First of all the round shank is 6mm, not 1/4". Both shanks have horribly crooked threads making them very wobbly. This seems to be a trend among the cheap Chinese kits, more often than not they are junk.

This is a good assortment of quick change 2" flap discs and everything that you need to use them. The abrasive on these is zirconia, which is better than the general purpose aluminum oxide. You get five of each grit and all the grits are useful for working on metal. Each flap disc has a label with the size and the grit on it for quick reference. They included two mandrels, one for a hex chuck and one for a die grinder. It's 1/4" mandrel, so it's not able to be used on a rotary tool. And then you have the base which is what the flap disk screws into. If you haven't used these before, this is a good way to get started and try them out. They're useful for using a die grinder to sand metal in small areas or if the area is hard to access. I like this set quite a bit and even when the flap discs are consumed, you still have the mandrels and base to use in the future. The disks held up, and they performed well. I'm not familiar with his brand but I would get them again.

I used these discs to remove paint and corrosion from some metal surfaces. I used a cordless drill at high speed. The discs worked well and as expected the course discs cut faster and the fine discs left a smoother finish. It works well to start with the coarse disc and move to the finer disc to get the best surface finish. All the discs removed material well and were durable and long lasting. The arbor mounts fit well in my drill and held the discs securely. The twist in mount for the discs is very quick and convenient. The discs are color coded for how course the grit is but there is no key to the code with the discs. I found the color key in the item description on amazon so I made a cheat cheat to keep with the discs. There are many sanding disc sets available on the internet and this one compares favorably to them in price and quality. Highly recommended.

These are fairly good quality flap discs. I like the assortment pack and really appreciate the two bits, one a 1/4" hex and the second for a standard drill chuck. The flap disks screw into the plastic pad so they will not be falling off as can happen with some hook n loop brands. The 2" size will allow me to use these in much tighter areas that my grinder flap discs cannot get to. I will update if my opinion of these changes.

This is a nice package to rol-loc flap wheels and are a staple in my shop. I use them for metal prep and finishing when doing bodywork on the cars I restore. This brand of flap wheel are as nice a quality as any of the brand name abrasive wheels that I have previously ordered. The abrasive is sharp, cuts well and last as long as any others I have used.
