I have a 2020 John Deere X370 lawn tractor. Since I purchased it, the tractor was impossible to start when hot, after running a while. The starting issue ONLY happened when the engine (Kawasaki) was hot. After allowing the engine to cool for 20 minutes, starting was not an issue. I sent the tractor back to my dealer. He replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs and air filter and checked the valve lash on both sides. He sent it back to me saying that the starting problems were common since "they make these engines to damn lean." When I tested the tractor, it again failed to start when hot. Totally frustrated, I went into problem solving mode myself. The fuel pump checked out fine as did the compression on both cylinders. I then check for spark when the engine was hot. Guess what? There was no spark on either plug after the engine was hot. So, I ordered a set of these ignition coils with the hope that the problem would be solved. I installed both coils and voila ... the spark returned and my tractor now starts fine - hot or cold. Pretty cheap fix for a $6000 tractor that would only start when cold. The parts fit perfectly and, except for the rubber boots that cover the head of the plugs being somewhat inferior to the originals, the coils were of satisfactory quality.

Purchased to replace ignition coils on my 13 year old Cub Cadet LTX1050 with the Kawasaki engine. Parts easily fit where original ignition coils were removed and works like new. Great alternative to expensive OEM parts. No issues.

perfect fit. hotter spark than original. highly recommend replacing both of them. replaced the nonworking one, noticed it was hotter than other (by a noticeable amount). mower cranked right up and runs smoother than with older ones.

I have a 3 year old Cub Cadet with a Kawasaki FR730V. After cutting for about twenty minutes the engine would stall and to keep it running I had to disengage the mower, choke it for a second then it would smooth out for another few minutes. I checked/changed everything from gas, fuel filter and spark plugs. However, when I order the NGK spark plugs on Amazon an additional item, these particular coils popped up. I read the reviews on the coils and others seemed to be having similar problems. Ordered the coils and installed yesterday. The hardest part was removing the engine cowl. Cut for 2 hours yesterday and no hiccups. Wish I would have started with replacing the coils.
