I would not recommend this tool to use for work purposes because it is a little wobbly but for somebody like me who just needs a little handy work here and there and don't want to buy a drill when I already have an impact, it works perfectly

This item would be great for using an 1/2 inch impact for drilling small holes. Basically if your application will force the impact action of your tool to engage due to torque you won't be happy. There is definitely a use for this tool but my application destroyed it.

Got to test it last Saturday. And I didn't like what I found out. For starters: It won't hold the grip. gets loose by itself real easy. Second: It locks, and won't let me take the bit off. Third: When I tried to hold the back half to loosen the bit. It came undone, and didn't work anymore. Had to take it off the drill, and throw it away! Bad item. I hope I had ordered a metal one with key instead!

Not internally strong enough to use on 1/2" drive. Good lunch loosening chuck to remove bit
