This extension cable is precisely what I needed to charge my Tesla at my condo without having to inconvenience my neighbor by asking them to swap parking spaces. It has made the process much more convenient for me. The build quality of the product is excellent, with sturdy materials and reliable connections that ensure safe and efficient charging every time. I was particularly impressed by how well-thought-out the design is, making it easy to set up and use.The instructions provided were clear, concise, and easy to follow, which meant I could get everything up and running without any confusion. Additionally, the inclusion of accessible customer support for any potential questions or issues is a great bonus, though I didn’t need to use it since everything worked perfectly right out of the box. This extension has exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and functionality, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone facing similar challenges. It’s a practical and reliable solution that’s worth every penny.

I purchased this Tesla extension cable with the intention of using it to charge my Ford F-150 Lightning from the Tesla wall connector installed in my garage. To bridge the compatibility gap, I'm using a NACS CCS adapter. The extension cable itself appears to be just as robust as the original Tesla charger cable, with a similarly thick gauge. During charging sessions, I've noticed that neither the cable itself nor the connector handles heat up, which is a good sign. It consistently delivers 47 amps of power to my truck from my 48-amp charger, indicating minimal power loss. Both the connection to the Tesla charger cable and the connection to the truck adapter are secure and don't show any signs of looseness.I haven't had the opportunity to test the cable's flexibility in colder temperatures yet, as I'm curious to see how it handles potential stiffening. However, in 40-degree Fahrenheit weather, the cable remains pliable and is easy to coil up and store back in its carrying case.

This is a quality extension cord for your Tesla. Thicker than OEM but connects perfectly. No issues with charging, and the cable barely gets warm. Came with a nice case. Works well!

It worked with out any issues with my Tesla Mobile Connector! I have a 240v 14-50 plug in my garage and the Mobile Connector, not the permanently mounted wall charger and I was still getting my full 32a with this cable. It's nice being able to charge outside of the garage. I'll report back if I end up having any problem but it seems well made so far. I'm running the cable under the garage door with no problems either. It does not open the charging door automatically, you have to use the app or your screen on the dash, but that's such a minor inconvenience for being able to charge in the driveway now that I wouldn't knock any stars off the product for that reason. For what it's worth, from my research I don't think any extender on the market opens the charging door anyway.

Our two Teslas share a single Mobile Connector (MC) plugged into a NEMA 14-50 240V receptacle on the side wall of our garage. Before buying this extender, we had to do the "driveway shuffle", moving three and sometimes four cars just to get within reach of the relatively short 20-ft cord on the Tesla Mobile Connector. This NACS (Tesla's connector-North American Charging System) extension cord more than doubles it's reach. Now we can charge whether the car is parked inside or outside of the garage making our charging logistics much less of a chore. I leave the extender connected to the Tesla plug/wand and the combined cord coiled, hanging neatly out of the way. Here's my take:Pros:-Heavy duty, stout cable, well-made and has a durable high quality feel.-The cable is actually thicker and stronger-looking than the one on the original Tesla MC, yet not overly stiff.-No loss of charging speed, voltage or current at 32-amps. I have yet to try it on a 48-amp Wall Connector.-Perfect fit. Male and female connectors fit together very well. Not too tight or loose which inspires confidence that it won't catch on fire!-Priced better and has a slightly higher current rating than its competitorsCons:-The button doesn't actuate the charging port/door. You have to push the button on the Tesla MC's plug or use the phone app--but that limitation is clearly stated in the product's description-Can't use this extension cable for DC (Tesla Supercharger) high current charging--also mentioned in the description-The female end seems a bit bulky, and has a sliding lock which is more streamlined, but a bit awkward to use. I prefer a push button lock/release.-There is no protection to the Tesla charging plug if the cord is dragged across the floor. I'll probably wrap some clear plastic film over the connection to protect it from scratches. I also tied a high-visibility ribbon to avoid tripping or running over the connection.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality NACS extension cable.
