HOW TO REPAIR THE KNOCK SENSOR?
Remove the Engine from the vehicle, Remove the intake manifold and throttle body assembly.
Locate the knock sensor on your vehicle by going through the service manual.
Remove the electrical connector from the sensor and Remove the bolts and screws that hold the sensor on the block.
Pull out the old sensor once it is unmounted and Match the old sensor with the new one.
Install the new sensor at the proper location and Tighten back again to as much as 29 ft. lbs.
Reconnect the sensor back to the connectors.

For the buyer/ reviewer who complained that this knock sensor harness only comes with one wire hooked up......that's how the original oem harness comes hooked up, from the manufacturer. Take a look at the original harness wire in your car and see. This aftermarket one works great.

Once put in my 300zx it worked great! Only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars was because the plug that plugs into the ECU side was completely wrong. I had to cut the plug from the old knock sensor pigtail and solder to the new. Other than that it worked great.

2003 Nissan Murano. Come on Amazon, check your suppliers. This is a highly rated item, when I received the knock sensor harness I was excited to install it, pulled it out of the bag, one end looks good, the other end where the knock sensor goes, there is only ONE WIRE ATTACHED? You've got to be kidding me. I guess I should have followed the other reviews that said one wire was not attached. This is truly a poor quality supplier. By the way, you have to use the sensor that comes with the harness, the OE does not fit the connector. The OE P/N is 24011CA001, it's obsolete.

UPDATE: still works great and no codes ..1997 Infinity QX4, I did the relocation off you tube and thank God I did... wasn't going to tear it down after watching that nice workable hack, the price to oh can't beat and it seems to work great.. doesn't show up on my scan tool ;) and runs great so far..
