Remove the caliper assembly and rotor.
Next, drive out the existing wheel studs with a hammer.
Finally, install the new wheel studs.

Couldn't do it without this tool. This tool was a life saver for the wheels on my car. I was able to install the wheel studs without any problem.

Used to replace a broken stud on my Scion FRS - pretty simple hammer out the broken stud, install new and tighten down with the stud installer. I used an impact wrench to install mine

Después de poner llantas nuevas, pedà el balanceo y alineación completo..... Resulta que quitar y poner las tuercas varias veces para ese trabajo...... El personal cometió unos errores importantes...... El principal fue no usar el torque adecuado más cercano por lo menos para asegurar las llantas, sino que como todo en herramientas es potente en la actualidad, usaron todo ese poder y rompieron 5 de los 10 birlos de enfrente y otros tres ya no sabÃan que hacer...... La alineación se completó pero por lo regular yo uso autopista para probar el trabajo pero me dijo un trabajador que no lo hiciera..... Pues les comenté que và que usaron al tope y algo más sus pistolas neumáticas y el problema que habÃa........ Por eso el trabajador no querÃa que lo probara en autopista pero que al dÃa siguiente lo llevara para poner nuevos birlos pero me iba a cobrar....... No lo llevé....... Busqué ésta herramienta y no sabÃa que tan eficiente era pues quise poner uno a mi manera y me fue difÃcil y algunos comentarios decÃan que no lograban usarlo en 2 birlos cuando se rompÃa...... Asà que quise probar y resulta que coloqué todos los 10 excepto 2 que puse a mi manera....... Ahà comprobé que es muy buena y efectiva la herramienta además de mucho menos tiempo y muy seguro....... Super contento por el precio más los birlos y tuercas que compré nada que ver con la cantidad de $ 120 dólares más los birlos que yo tenÃa que pagar por un trabajo que quedó mal ........ Trabajan bien los muchachos pero hace falta enseñarles que apretar las llantas no es solamente poner toda la fuerza especialmente con los coches pequeños..... Pero...... Éste es mi comentario....... La pieza es increÃble y tenerla te sirve por si también los birlos son viejos y reemplazarlos ésto te servirá.....

This was a GREAT GREAT GREAT tool to have for wheel stud replacement. I did 20 lug studs using a brushless Ryobi Impact driver. But with using an impact driver and then with how fast I was knocking these studs out, the bearing inside couldn’t keep up with the heat and torque. So, by the last wheel/ stud 15 the bearing in the little tool had seen better days. It was HOT and it wasn’t sounding good. This is a great tool to buy and abuse then toss. At the time of use, this tool was about quarter of the price of the “real†Lisle 22800 puller.

Bearing on bottom doesn't spin and damaged the wheel hub. Tool damaged in the process. CHEAP!I thought the bearing was just tough. Nope..... Didn't move at all, and damaged my breand new wheel hub. They say the bearing isnt warrantied but it should at least work at first!

I compared this tool to the major competitors. The higher end tool vendors produce a very good product. The issue was this was a tool I planned on using just once, maybe twice if I were unlucky. To my surprise, this tool allowed the wheel stud to be pulled right through the rotor with ease and without damaging the lug nut. Would strongly recommend.

It didn't pull the stud all the way in tight. I'm not sure if I needed a more powerful wrench. Doing it manually didn't work either, careful not to damage the new stud.
