Worked fine for installing my exposed purlins on a structure I built. Would have been nice to find black hanger nails too but - I’m dreaming!! 😀. Yeah, you gotta zoom in a little to see them on the ends of the purlins. Note: I did have to shave the ends of my rough cut (true 2†wide) 2x4s to get them to fit but I knew that going in. They would fit a standard 2x4 (1 1/2†wide) perfectly.

They were easy to put up and easy to use. I put the rafters up on my porch piece of cake. I could have used two more had to go to Lowe's and buy some which I didn't really like those as well as the ones I got here.

These are a set of heavy duty Joist Hangers for hanging 2x4's,and are well made and fit perfectly. The steel is as strong as any others, and the usual hammer on clips are there for hanging them until they can be screwed or nailed in place. The hangers are painted with a good heavy duty black finish, and are attractive for an exposed installation. I think these are worth there asking price, and I can recommend them.

These rafter hangers are decent quality and appear sturdy. The are a decorative black that is nice for exposed interior locations. I would guess that they are roughly the same metal thickness as the standard galvanized ties. These will be good for my exposed ceiling rafters in my cabin (big shed). My star rating scale: âââââ Highly Recommend ââââ Good, Recommended-but maybe check others also âââ Look around, but this will do the basic job
