Buy it. This thing rocks.If you want more detail, the packaging it came in was overkill in a pretty nice way. It was presented in the really lovely manner, and would be fantastic for a gift. It has a certain classy nature to all the packaging that feels like you can just wrap it up and give it to someone as-is.Performance wise, the grid is actually pretty generously heightened, and I feel like it can hold on to a decent amount of liquid over the course of a night. Even the outer edging with the straight lines has depth in-between them to hold spilled liquid. so this really can hold a lot of mistakes.The silicon rubber mix it uses is really flexible, and lays flat from the moment you have it leave the box, so there really isn't a pain point of having to lay it out and wait for it to adjust its shape. It can definitely be thrown in the top rack of a dishwasher, and it looks classy enough to really go well with almost any bartending setup.Overall, I am truly impressed with it and love the looking functionality, and the fact that it's presented so well from the box means it's a very giftable item.

Wife got me the large bar mat for Christmas I love it so I bought a couple of the bumpers as well.One unfortunately had a bit of a manufacturing flaw in the design but they work...

I don’t give out five star ratings very often. You really have to knock my socks off in order to get five stars. So when I give five stars to this item, it really deserves it. The workmanship is astronomical. It’s so incredible. I can’t even put it towards. The gold or golden rod color that is the accent is so regal. It truly looks like 1920s style or some type of Los Angeles Art Deco. It truly is a beautiful piece to make cocktails on. This is the second amount that I’ve gotten from Charred Edge and I’m really excited. Their stuff really is top of the line.

I ordered this bar mat to use down in my man cave. It’s sized and fits perfectly - just like the ones you find at the bars. Black with yellow borders and holds the glassware in place and contains small spills. Easy to handle and wash.

Everything I've owned from Charred Edge has been excellent quality and extremely useful and this bumper is no exception. It's thick, well made with quality materials, adheres to my countertop well, and easy to clean. I have a larger rectangular version of this and this bumper gives me just the right amount of extra real estate to ensure that clean up from mixing cocktails is a breeze. Especially since both mats are easy to rinse down and dry quickly before stowing. This bumper, in particular, is easy to roll and store in the square box in which it arrived, thanks to the thick cardboard.I'm pleased, and highly recommend this mat.
