These are fine. The crimp well and are indeed gunmetal. The photos make them look very dark and almost black in colour but they are not. The style is just the regular dotted metal crimp you find at craft stores and indents slightly when you crimp too hard. It is nice to get a variety of sizes at once.

So I’ve never worked with ribbon before but I’m really excited to start. There’s a large variety of sizes and the metal is very sturdy. I will warn you that the metal is very very stiff so you will absolutely need pliers to close them as they will not be able to close via hands. At least I wasn’t able to make them budge at all. They are like a grey black metal and very pretty.

The pictures and description made it sound like these are black but they are nowhere near being black. They appear to be dark silver or VERY light gunmetal gray. I'm hesitant to even describe them as gunmetal gray, that's how light they are. I can't use them for what I was planning on because they are too light in color.

These pinch crimp ends for jewelry making work well. It is nice to get a bulk order for so cheap and the different sizes include are greatly appreciated.

I just received my half ribbon crimp ends and I am not happy about the quality of the products. Many of them have scratches and the colors of several of them are faded or look like stained. Look at the last picture, the crimp end at the very end below is horrendous on both sides, it is black color while it should be the color of the crimp end at the top, see the difference! As a Jewelry Designer, i take pride in always using excellent quality products.On the photo #3 you can see 3 of the crimp ends completely stucked. I had to use two nose pliers to separate them. I understand that during shipping the box moves with the products inside, but they should look for a better way to package these products.The smaller crimp ends 13mm and 15mm in the 3 colors are perfect, the quality is very good. The issue is mostly with the bigger sizes 20mm and 25mm.I do like the form of the crimp ends, I think it is very original and beautiful. And the package arrived even before expected.I decided to buy them because of their originality and because I always look for nickel-free materials. I won't be able to determine if they are really nickel-free or not right now. As time passes by, I would be able to verify if they are.I believe in giving a second chance or opportunity to the company that I buy from. I recommend them to have a very strict inspection of the quality of the products before they are shipped, and also look for a better way to ship these crimp ends.
