My fault I thought I ordered larger beads these are the size of a bean bag filler ball.

I like these pellets a lot. Clean and consistent. Unfortunately, the container was split open at the bottom as it was shipped in an unpadded envelope. Fortunately, nothing was lost so I'm only taking off one star

I got the 5mm. Today I'm ordering 5lbs. The ones I got earlier in the year have seen hundreds and hundreds of hours in 110/220 to fine polish in my tumblers. My stones have that (candy look). My last step is micro alumina. They work well and I just rinse them with the rocks. I have an old collander and just let them dry in that til needed. I run three 4lb tumblers 24 hours a day.

This is a very good media for polishing. They usually come in several large sizes but I prefer 3mm because it can get into small grooves and areas where other media can't so you can have better end result. It works very well and lasts a long time. Actually, I can't really comment on how many cycles I will be able to get out of it, it's still holding up just fine :).I used this product to clean and polish some of my older steel tools, and it worked perfect for my needs, the tools now look like new. A pro-tip when you are done, the beads will be no longer white color, but rather dirty grey'ish. You can clean them by tumbling the beads themselves alone in water with Dawn liquid dish soap. As an added benefit it will also clean your tumbler inside out. Just don't forget to do a rinse cycle after that. Also, I highly recommend using a rotating tumbler instead of vibrating as beards tend to "float" up on top of a tumbler while the steel items you are polishing "sink" down to the bottom. With a rotating tumbler you will not have this problem at all.Bottom line:Yes, I highly recommend this polishing media, it works perfectly.Pros:1) Great quality.2) Just the right size to get into grooves.4) Relatively cheap.5) Can be reused again and again.6) True weight is 2lb and 9oz.Cons:None

These were considerably smaller than I expected but they do the job just fine ( beach stone polishing)
