I tumble my casings twice, once before depriming and sizing and then once more using these pins. The primer pockets come out clean. I use a teaspoon of Dawn, two tablespoons of citric acid in the first and and second tumbles and then with the pins in the second, each time for about two hours. I use about half of the 2.5 pounds of the pins. This is for 250-275 of .38 and .357 casings.

They work great, but like all tumbling media it's a pain in the butt. No rust when put away wet.

Best price I found for stainless tumbling media. 2.5lbs is actually a lot of media. I was surprised at the quantity I received. Only needed half of the container for my tumbler. Polished my brass very well.

It's a fail for on my part at polishing brass in a vibrator, cruched walnut shell works much better. I know these steel pins work well in a tumbler, having seen it with my own eyes and no magicians present. ; )
