these worked out great for holding a net up. I had no issues with the net falling off. easy to remove.

I don't have any batting cages, but I found these devices handy for several other purposes. They are described as "Heavy Duty Steel Carabiners and Lanyards", which is not exactly accurate. What they are is small (2 3/4") lightweight metal carabiner with a knotted length of paracord-type cord looped through it. I can't tell exactly what the metal is, but it is so light I suspect it is aluminum.I used some of these cords to stretch and hold a tarp over a frame as a sunshade, others to mount a net between the front seats of a car to keep pets in the back, and the rest I separated and kept only the carabiners for future use.The reason I marked these down to only three stars is because of the misrepresentation of the carabiner material. If you plan on fastening large nets that will be subject to wind or snow with these, I think this difference in strength is very significant. If you just need a bunch of lightweight carabiners like I did, they'll work fine.
