I measured a few inductors and they were spot on. Great value. It is nice to have different values on-hand. I suppose it is less expensive to not mark the parts with their inductance. Would prefer to have that and pay more.

Power surges had caused an inductor on my Maytag dryer's control board to melt and lean onto one of the capacitors which led to a nonfunctional control panel. The package arrived in good condition and once I removed the old components and installed the new ones, the board is working again.I'm no electrician and electronics aren't my strongest area, but I was able to at least get the components in the old solder. It took a bit, but the board works like new.

I am doing prototyping of critical circuits and needed an assortment of values in inductors. I randomly pulled 12 different values form this kit and found them to all measure within 1% to 2% of the rated value even though they are rated at 5% tolerance. Not bad for a nice assortment at a very low cost. I have also ordered a set of variable inductors as well since I sometimes want to go "outside the box" in my designs. There are far more costly sets around but these have really worked out well for me. The packaging is a nice "booklet" format, and once I figured out that the labels are supposed to be pulled out and the backing peeled off stuck to the individual cubicles I have now a well organized set of inductors. The vendor shipped very fast and was a good transaction.

The inductors met specification very well. The only additional thing that would have aided my particular application would have been a dot to allow determination of the magnetic vector direction. This is not commonly marked, so the seller did not in any way fail to meet spec.

There's no datasheet nor component manufacturer documented with this kit. You just don't know what you are getting with these. There are no inductor markings on the components. Yes, they provide super basic info about the inductors in the kit but no reputable electronics manufacturer provides electronic components without a datasheet containing ratings and electrical and characteristic curves . I suppose this kit may be suitable for novices or kids to toy around with but just not suitable for serious electronic work.
