I was inspired by some YouTube videos and decided to give it a shot. This wire is sturdy yet easy to work with using the pliers. It was a fun craft project I had.

Have to have this for wire wrapping and soft soldering jewelry pieces. So sturdy yet easy to bend. Love this size gauge, I have bought this before and it’s a good one!

Good, high quality product. Thick, beautiful copper. Very pleased. Good value. Hard to find in my local store where they seem to be sold out. Once I realized it was sold out locally, it was nice to be able to order exactly what hat I needed from Amazon.

As someone who frequently undertakes DIY projects, I value versatile and high-quality materials. The Hillman 25' 18 Gauge Bare Copper Wire has proven to be a reliable and useful addition to my toolkit. The first thing that stands out about this wire is its general-purpose functionality. Whether you need it for electrical repairs, craft projects, or even gardening ties, this bare copper wire comes in handy in numerous situations. The 18-gauge thickness strikes the right balance between strength and flexibility. It's sturdy enough to hold its shape under tension, yet flexible enough to be shaped and twisted easily. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of uses. One feature I particularly appreciate is the dispenser package. It keeps the wire neatly coiled and prevents tangling, which can be a common issue with loose wires. Plus, it allows you to easily pull out the length you need without having to unravel the entire 25 feet.Despite its strength, the Hillman Bare Copper Wire is also remarkably easy to cut. You don't need heavy-duty tools to snip off the required length, making it convenient for quick fixes and small projects. In terms of quality, this copper wire doesn't disappoint. It's durable and resistant to wear and tear, ensuring it can withstand repeated use. The bare copper conducts electricity well, making it ideal for basic wiring tasks around the house.

I made these 3D crosses for a Children’s Church project so they could see in tangible terms that we can put our cares on the cross. I started by making a “jig†by nailing long nails through wood in the shape of the cross. Then I wrapped around all of them to make two flat (2D) crosses and put them together with a thinner gauge wire. I bought the tiny clothespins at Dollar Tree. I think the kiddos enjoyed them but I know their parents did! This wire was sturdy and perfect!

I read where copper wire wrapped around sticks and put in a garden stimulates growth of plants. It seemed.to.have worked this summer as I.had a bumper crop of healthy cherry tomatoes in my garden box.I can use the same wire next summer as it held up well but will need new sticks!
