This particular device was purchased in order to avoid paying for cloud service because it will record all of the motion video and sound from any of the blank cameras on the system. It's storage capacity can be upgraded from the 256 GB of this memory card to that of another. It is easy to use it is easy to hide and seems to be of a quality design. I would add that after installing the cameras and sampling the cloud service I found that the cloud service was an even greater value than the entire system combined as it allowed me to save all of the recordings for 60 days before they were removed which allows me to download any clips that I wish to keep. And for one very very low price you can have as many blink cameras as you want on your cloud system making this obsolete for me but good for some.

I literally didn't know it would come with the mount. I guess that's the entire point, but I just needed the little flash drive for my 3rd Blink camera. What a nice surprise. It's fantastic! And very sleek!

Have to power cycle the module and/or reformat the drive every day. Frustrating!Update: Discovered the sync module won't stay powered up.

Came across this on Amazon browsing one eve and decided to buy. It's great for keeping your sync module neat with the smaller cord and the USB Drive is handy for storing videos and pics from your system. Definitely would recommend.

Realmente no recomiendo este tipo de cámaras. Al parecer quieren obligar a uno a tener una suscripción para poder ver los videos. Cómo yo no puedo hacerlo opté por comprar en Amazon un USB de 256 G. Al principio funcionó por un corto periodo de tiempo. Después dejo de grabar . Con el tiempo volvió a trabajar, pero de nuevo dejó de funcionar y me decÃa que el USB no era compatible. Cómo es eso si antes si almacenaba los videos en el almacenamiento local, después me dejaba a saber que necesitaba formateo USB y lo hice, por 2 semanas funcionó y ahora de nuevo estoy con el mismo problema o similar, el mensaje que recibo es que no está conectado el USB a cuando si lo está, y luego trato de seguir los paso en mi teléfono y luego aparece que no se pudo finalizar el comando. Solamente puedo ver los videos en directo pero estos no quedan en el USB y trato de cambiar de la nube a el almacenamiento local y no me deja hacerlo. Lamentablemente compré 4 cámaras junto con el módulo para nada.
