I wrapped a pole in my garage that is there to prevent you from hitting the hot water heater. Works great!

A water pipe in building's garage was leaking mineral "rich" water onto my car leaving deposits that would not come off with simple detergent and water (there is another way). The water was dripping because the building had hung rain gutters under the water pipes, except over my parking space and the one next to mine. I had my parking space reassigned and the maintenance crew has now installed similar pipe insulation throughout the parking garage and removed all the rain gutters. I cannot imagine who or how they decided rain gutters were the solution to dripping pipes in the first place. But the problem is now solved, more or less. Where the insulation sleeves meet, water still drips out when the insulation gets loaded with water, so if you don't place the junctions between the cars, water still drips onto the cars. It will be interesting to see how long (if ever) they figure out how to solve that issue.

This is a good quality insulation, and does not break easily, but can still bend if needed to fit around a curve. I wish I had bought a slightly bigger size, as I'm using this on my water line into the house which is slightly larger, but it gets the job done.

I used it to conceal some radio coax wires coming into my den. The pipe insulation worked great and at a great price.

I needed an invention to keep my Hair "DO" in place overnight with a Sassy Flip in the back. I sleep in a recliner from a back injury several years ago and this was the perfect solution to cut it the width of my chair back and use 2 " wide elastic around the chair back and through the tube. Placed it just above the flip to rest my head on and voila stays perfectly all week!! Bet you never had your good pipe insulation used for this purpose!! LOL

I purchased this to wrap my 5 year olds bed frame since he's always jumping about. This size was too large, however it still stays in place and protects his legs from hitting the hard metal frame.

I use this cover on the heat pipe behind my bed...it keeps me from getting too hot and also relieves my mind about my bed being so close to the pipes.
