Frustrated...The flare end of the 3/16" brake fitting does not fit a standard brake line wrench properly, likely due to variations in nut sizes, flare types, and manufacturing tolerances. While most 3/16" brake lines use a 3/8" or 10mm flare nut, some are slightly larger or smaller, making it difficult to get a secure grip. Differences in flare standards, such as double flare or bubble flare, and material coatings can also affect fitment.If you're working with these fittings, be prepared to test different wrench sizes, clean the fitting, or use a high-quality flare wrench to avoid rounding the nut. You may want to find a better quality kit unless you don't care about the fit of the wench.
