Originally designed for attaching elevator buckets to conveyer belts. Similar to a carriage bolt, except the head is thin and flat.

Discovered these at a hardware store. Needed lots of them and these are perfect. Used to give feet to legs for a room sized train layout. They help leveling the benchwork a breeze.

These were the cheapest elevator bolts I could find for my project and they worked well for me.The threads seemed to be cut well and none of them snapped or stripped.
