These o-rings are compressively firm, but still allow ~20% stretch if you're trying to extend their fit. I've used them both in a couple of around-the-house projects, and also as a fastener when assembling a laser-cut project that used tab-and-slot construction. I love the variety of finely graduated sizes in this kit, and the organization is very handy. While I picked this up at a discount, I'd recommend it if you need a variety of o-ring diameters and thicknesses.

This is a great set for projects around the house. They're green which is typically reserved for HVAC, but they seem to be made from regular NBR. It's a good kit to have laying around if you work with a lot of fluid systems like I do for work.
