This fitting was just as it was described. I've been using it for over a month and I've had no problems. Both threads were as described and clean cut. I'm using it as a fitting to connect an IBC tote to a water line connecting several other totes for a community garden water tower so it is exposed to the exterior environment. I've been satisfied so far with the purchase.

I have 2 IBC totes of which one of them had a different threading. This worked perfectly for my situation to convert it over to standard threads and finish my project! Just be sure to get it on there as tight as possible or use thread tape to avoid leaks!

Make sure you get the correct thread for your IBC tank, but these adapters work great! I can hook a garden hose up to an IBC tank, and water the garden with rain-catch water.
