This cloth is pretty stiff just out of the package, but once I rinsed and dyed it, it softened a lot. It took the dye beautifully ðŸ˜. Super happy with this cloth. It is as good a quality and what I had been getting locally.

This fabric is nice for doing counted thread embroidery. Two cautions, however: 1) out of the package, the fabric is very stiff. You have to soak it in warm water for a while, and then let it dry and press it. This softens it a bit, and it gets softer as you handle it while stitching; 2) it's not cut on the grain, so be sure, after you've softened it, to pull a thread near each edge until you get a straight thread running all along the fabric. If you don't it may be off when you measure out the size of the piece you plan to embroider. I like the large size of fabric offered; it's hard to find large yardage that you can cut into several pieces according to the size you need for your embroidery.

This is a very good quality fabric that I needed for an heirloom quality cross stitch pattern. To me this is like a painter's canvas and my cross stitch will look even better on it. Packaged in a good quality pouch that I can use for my kit.Great price for this and I will buy more.

This fabric is so stiff that it's almost impossible to work with. Additionally, the holes are uneven and some of the threads are so flat that it's hard to find the holes.

I refuse to pay for hand dyed fabric when I can easily do it myself. This fabric was perfect for that reason. It became very soft after washing. It came nicely packaged as well. I will buy more for sure.

True 28 count, stiffer than evenweave, but holes are more readily visible like Aida compared to other brands of softer evenweave. It seems good quality cloth regardless!

Fabric is of a good weight and I like the fact it came in a weather repellant package and was well sealed.Very happy and would recommend.
