I've got a couple "cowboy" style hats for different occasions (cold weather, nicer wear, and a day-to-day one) and for a long time they sat on tables and floors and wherever when k wasn't wearing them.Thanks to these - easy install (just peel and stick on the wall - though screws are provided if mounting on, for example, wood) and with plenty of room to hang even a bigger hat (like those on my oversized noggin) - my hats now are organized and easy to get to. Great hooks if you've got hats you want to store/display better!

Some of my hats kept slipping off. I had to add a little a little tape on the ends.

I have hats just sitting on top of each other. Now, with these hangers, I'm able to place them on the wall where I want them and they still look good even when there's no hat hanging on it!

These hooks are nice. They only project exactly 2-3/4" and should work with most wide brimmed hats. I kind of wish they offered a mix of sizes because 2-3/4" won't work with everything.The ABS plastic is strong. These should hold up to impacts and the mounting surface that goes against the wall also spreads the load.One complaint is that they don't say the plastic is UV resistant. So, if you have this in a naturally lit hallway or close to some fluorescent tube lamps, you may see degradation of the plastic with time (it will become brittle).
