As a DIY low grade professionally amateur tinter who is not great at tinting but a perfectionist when it comes to tinting nonetheless, I have applied tints many times over the years. Car windows, headlights, tail lights, house windows, vinyl wraps for trims, grills, whatever it may be. I've gone through many $5 kits, a lot of them have just enough to get by, but in reality they hardly qualify as kits. They have the one you'll use most, one additional tucking accessory, and one piece you'll never use. And I've used so many of these over the years simply because they've been misplaced or thrown away after I'm done. The great thing about this kit, besides the many options that it has, is that you can tell they have the users in mind. This is because all of the important squeegees and tools, the ones that you'll go to pull out of the box everytime you use this kit, the ones that are so easily misplaced from constant use or thrown away by a "clutter free" significant other, this kit includes multiples of all of those pieces. So instead of buying another cheap kit everytime because you need the main guy, you'll have backups of all of the main guys. I'd definitely recommend getting this kit over any of the barely cheaper options. It even comes in a nice small box for easy storage, compared to the cheaper options that usually come in a clear plastic bag.

I used this kit to install privacy film on the windows in our guest bathroom. Everything I needed was in this kit so I didni't have to go searching among all my tools. The spray bottle, exacto knife and squeegees made the installation easy.

This kit included everything I needed to tint my front windows of my car. Although I didn't need every tool provided, I did appreciate that I had them in case they were needed. I had a precut tint and was pretty simple to install as most of the glass was exposed but where these tools really shined was when I had to tuck the tint under the rubber of the door. I was able to push the tint using the edges of the tool as it was able to push and slide away the rubber strip so that the tint was able to go into the door frame. The tools are made of a good quality plastic so I didn't have to worry about the car getting scratched up and kept its shape well after my first use.

It is a good kit equipped with everything you need for home use I would say. I installed a tint on my bedroom windows, and when using the knife from this kit I noticed that they are not sharp enough, when I was making the cut at one point the knife stopped and I had to put it back in place, which left an imperfection mark on the tint, if this would have been a professional job installing a vinyl wrap (which is thicker than a tint) on a car I would not have been happy with that.
