So far I've only used rivets with posts, so this was a new skill I had to learn. Simply looked up some how-to videos and went to work. These rivets did the trick just fine, on an old but very ergonomic aluminum snow shovel that needed refurbishing. If you are reading this, you probably know that the other kind of rivets (with posts) are only (practically) flat on one side, and would not work with both surfaces exposed, like a snow shovel.So glad I decided to get them and learn a new skill in the process. Definitely recommend.

These are good quality aluminum rivets that hold well. They do not corrode and are easy to work with. They come in a variety of lengths for numerous uses. I highly recommend them!
