Quantity is excellent for the grade school artist in my family. Quality is good and they are presharpened which is helpful.

The maker/seller might want to slap a “Fragile†sticker on the carton - the first set sent arrived smashed up pretty well because it was in a box with a nine pound set of wrenches on top of it, and no side padding to hold it in place, so many many pencils bounced up onto a divider, only to get their tips sheared off when the wrenches bounced back down.So the second set arrived safe and sound, and I gave them a try. I’ve got a couple colored pencils I’ve used when mapping out various gardening/planting plans in various greens and browns, and one or two in blue and yellow, so I haven’t done much in the way of blending techniques. Most of the pencils had an okay tip- my sharpener is nothing fancy, but I was able to get a far finer point with it. My paper is nothing fancy either, so I’m not sure how that affects attempts at blending. My good eraser found a really good hiding spot; the air hardened little pink one on the end of an old #2 made a mess if things, but after scrubbing off the hard skin it worked okay.I wasn’t able to get very saturated colors compared to my garden plan pencils, in spite of really grinding away. Granted, my garden pencils were about a buck apiece twenty years ago (so says my rusty bear trap memory) so I’m guessing they’re a notch or two better quality. This set works out to less than 10¢/pencil. Probably something for all the underfunded art teachers in the world might be interested in. 24 sets of 12 colored pencils for $1.17 per set? Sounds like a deal to me.

Colors are not vibrant! The lips is Yegeer brand off Amazon and the cherries are colored with Crayola

I got the 288 Count Colored Pencils set, and they are perfect for my kids and myself. They are pre-sharpened making them ready to use right away, and the variety of colors is great for any art project. They work great and definitely worth the money.

these are used by anatomy students for drawing and coloring what they see in the microscope. Colors are good and they seem to sharpen fine.

Bulk sets like this are great for classrooms or large groups of kids. This is a nice set. The pencils work and draw well. Easy to sharpen. Basic colors included. They come sharpened, but some tips were broken as they broke during delivery unfortunately. The con of this is the case itself. It wasn't obvious which way it was supposed to be opened. I accidentally opened it upside down at first, which mixed all the colors together while still keeping them divided for the most part. I then closed it, and opened it the correct way. And the dividers were falling out and very difficult to get back in place. They float and can be removed, so pencils roll underneath it under the area next to it. They are likely constantly going to fall out of place or not maintain division. This is annoying, especially because kids aren't the best at putting them back where they should go to begin with - so there is almost no way the colors will be seperate for long if this is used in a children's classroom.Besides that, the pencils are good and it'd a good value!
