I requested and received “for free†this PMHMER 29â€-43â€Long Telescopic Tube Metal Watering Wand to test and give my honest opinion. My wife must have been through ten or twelve of the shorter watering wands for her garden over the past 5 years. At this price point (it was $36.99 when I ordered it, currently the price has been reduced 20% AND there is also a 10% off coupon) I was hoping for a higher quality build with better materials being used. I was unable to test this because it is currently 25 degrees outside and the fact that all the garden hoses have been drained and put away in the shed. But my Watering Wand expert wife was very sad when she saw this item and just said "I give it a month before it leaks from a few joints". As she is the expert on such matters I am leaving a 3 star review for now and will update the stars and add new comments after the water wand is used for a month or two.Ordering as a Vine member does not mean I’m getting "free products".. Between my time for testing the product, doing an honest review and the FEDERAL AND STATE INCOME TAXES I am liable for because I am "receiving items of value in lieu of wages" that are based on the LIST PRICE with no coupons allowed to be used, there is a real cost to these items "paid for" by me. Since most of the items offered to VINE Member are Brand New to the market, never on the market before, MANY TIMES the price drops or coupons become available to every Amazon buyer a week or so after VINE Members orders them at FULL LIST PRICE. This really affects any cost savings VINE Members may end up with... So far I have been having a great time "doing my VINE job", and I hope to continue doing it for quite some time....

Product, features, likes and dislikes:To make things short, the PMHMER 10 pattern telescopic watering wand, in my MIL's words: 'best purchase ever'. The extended max range of 43" make you wonder what have you been doing all these years dragging your hose around my garden. The 10 spray patterns, admittedly I've only use 2 of them, but could be useful to someone else. The 180 degree swivel head really compounds the effectiveness allowing you to reach hard spots without too much efforts.Quality:Really well built hose with good materials. The outside is wrapped with a rubber silicon material that makes it shock proof and easy to hold, I was wondering if the connector parts can be done using aluminum or brass to make it indestructible throughout.Price:$32.99 at the time of review, it seems to be a few bucks above the premium stuff in my local stores.

Way easier to use and just a regular hose or the small sprayers. The small sprayer is always hurt my hand so this thing is great.

Somehow we break one of these every year, so I can't comment on durability - I think that's a user error on our end.This watering wand is really well made - the length is adjustable which is nice, and it gives you a nice reach to get to those hanging baskets on your property.The quick fit things it comes with are absolutely useless - luckily they can be removed.The variety of spray patterns on the nozzle is nice as well, and should cover just about everything you could need!

This water hose sprayer wand looks and feels average. There is no assembly required except to connect two tubes together. Intentional or not, the way the title is written confuses people. “29-43†long Telescopic Tube Metal Watering Wand†makes the buyers think that this sprayer wand is made from metal (aluminum, as specified on its website). In reality, only the two long tubes are made of metal. Most of this wand is made of plastic.Water hose sprayer wands help to conserve water, because when we water our plants with water nozzles, a good amount of water splashes out of the planters, taking with it some of the soil. I have more than a dozen water wands, and this one has the longest reach. Many of my wands are made from metal and last for years.This sprayer has 10 spray patterns, and all of them work fine. There is no leak. Water flow is smoothly controlled by a small lever and not with a trigger.Only time can tell how reliable and durable this wand is. For now, it performs well. However, my experience with water sprayer wands is that the performance of the ones made mostly from plastic deteriorates much faster than the one made from metal, and they are also much less durable. Personally, I believe a water wand made mostly of plastic should be priced a bit less.

After going through so many spray heads that lasted just a few months then fell apart, I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality of this "Telescopic Tube Metal Watering Wand". Solidly constructed, smoothly moving parts, comfortable handle, good ergonomics. The spray head is superior in quality to the $25-30 nozzle-only spray heads I've been using in the past.I'm pretty happy with this product.
