This makes a nice slippery dryer vent that won’t get crushed and won’t catch lint (but unfortunately isn’t code in most places, they prefer the flimsy and dangerous lint-catching flexible/expandable thin silver foil duct). But it will work great until you want to sell your house and you have to replace it with the cheap junk that meets code.

Worked well for brake ducting for my 911. Used for one race weekend so far and seems pretty robust.

I needed a sturdy heat resistant hose to extend the exhaust of my motorhome's hydrohot to keep it away from water and sewer hoses and fits perfect over the existing pipe needing no clamps. Happy camper.

I usually need to open all the doors in my garage once a month in the winter time to start our mopeds and keep their systems clear over the winter. I picked this up to make it a little easier for me to exhaust their fumes out the bottom of my garage door.This hose perfectly fits over the outlet on my Genuine Buddy 50 scooters. I placed the hose over the exhaust and with a slight twist on the hose it slides perfectly onto the Buddy's steel exhaust port and I was able to start it up and vent the exhaust out my door.The hose itself is very tightly wound and stiff, it wont easily bend 45 degree's in your hand unless you take a large arc so you cant just turn it to a right angle at an end. The angle you use will need to be very gradual. The ends are left loose and I wish they had stitched them into a closed loop as the way they are now, I worry about the long term wear on the ends. I was able to run my moped for a few minutes each as a test for this winter.Overall a good solution to move hot air like a motorcycle or moped exhaust out of your garage without having to open the doors and windows completely.

I have a laser engraver that I use inside a climate controlled workshop. The laser is inside an enclosure that controls the smoke that’s generated during the cutting or engraving process. I have a 4” auxiliary fan that draws the smoke from the enclosure, and pushes it out a window. I had previously used a 4” dryer hose, but it was very flimsy and was prone to collapsing. This hose is very heavy duty. It will not kink or collapse. It can be shaped to fit the application, but both ends need to be secure, or it will straighten out again.

Quality of the material seems to be perfectly acceptable for my application. I’m using this ducting to squeeze a little bit more O2 into my carburetor.
