Perfect suprise gift for my mother who loves to entertain. She absolutely loved it and all her friends were raving over it at the clubhouse. She plans on doing meat spreads, cheese and crackers, and fruits with fruit dips. The included (shatter resistant acrylic) cake dome will come in handy for her cakes, pies, pasteries, and finger sandwiches at outdoor parties. Clean up was a breeze too! A+++++

I am really on the fence between four and five stars with this one.Looks: It is a really nice-looking piece. For displays, it is excellent. It has a classy, homey feel that works well for any setup.Ingenuity: Also great. The bottom "bowl" can be used or not, and it works as either a bowl or a stand. That makes it super versatile. We have used it for veggies and dip, snacks, cookies, and cakes. Everything looks nice in it.Quality: And this is where I lean toward four stars. Some of the joins in the wood are not tight. There are visible gaps, and it is not completely smooth. The people you are serving will not notice, but you will, and those joins are likely to be the first thing to fail. The acrylic lid could pass for glass, which adds to the look, but it also feels thin and brittle. It's not going to survive a drop without cracking.I think given these quality concerns, it's probably more of a fit for the $20-25 price range. It's a nice piece and we do like it and use it, but it's just not where it should be.

I was so excited for this cake stand & it arrived with obvious noticeable wood filler patching up holes on the cake stand side & more filler + unfilled holes on the charcuterie side. Returning for another that’s hopefully better quality or I’ll be returning again. Really disappointed, I wanted to use & love this product and chose this brand over others for the removable base aspect. Will amend review with replacement order quality

This dual purpose cake stand + snack board is a great idea and I didn’t know this is exactly what I wanted until I got it. I host quite often and this has definitely gotten some use in the past months. The design is simple and looks good.However, the problem I have with this product is that it does feel cheap. I would happily pay more money for a much better quality materials and craftsmanship. The lid is acrylic and you can tell. The board/stand looks nice from afar but upon holding it and looking at it closer, you can tell that this probably isn’t going to last too long.I really want to love this but the quality isn’t just there at this price.

This cake stand is an absolute beauty. The acacia wood has a gorgeous finish, and the craftsmanship feels top-notch. I host a lot of parties, and the dual function as a charcuterie board is a game-changer. It’s like getting two essential serving pieces in one sleek design, and it saves so much storage space.The acrylic dome is a thoughtful addition, lightweight yet sturdy and safe for kids. Plus, it fits desserts of all sizes without crowding. I’ve used it for cakes and cheeses so far.Now, for the one downside: it has a faint woody smell that isn’t my favorite, especially since it’s for food. I’ve aired it out, and the smell has lessened over time, but it hasn’t disappeared completely. I assume it’s part of the wood treatment process, so keep that in mind. It has no indication of being chemical free I wish they would include an indication about that. Just for that reason I take away a star, bc I think that's very important.It’s a bit pricey, but the quality justifies it. If you love hosting and want a piece that’s functional and elegant, this is definitely worth the investment.
