The razor blades aren't as sharp as those used in double-sided shaving blades but work well for dog grooming (and I imagine for human hair trim). I used them on my Brittany dogs to clean up around the ears and can get a decent feathered trim. It's a comb on one side and the blade on the other side.

This is a nice little comb with a blade that allows you to easily cut out a matt on a dog. I am rating this 3 -stars because the quality of the blade is VERY cheap, extremely thin, but it works. Comes with 30-replacebale blades - If a thicker, "real blade" was used, the blades would last longer, due to how thin the blade is, use it 2 times and you will need to replace the blade.

I got these razor combs for my brother's cat who eats mainly a can food diet with kibbles overnight. I find that because "the Meow" (his Ragdoll's cat's name) eats this type of diet, he tends to have soft poop that some ends up on the fur of his butt. I have to use a pair of scissors to snip "the Meow's" (aka Poopy butt) fur off when he gets it all over his hind legs. Long story short, these razor combs is a lot easier to remove his poopy butt's fur than scissors. The razor blades are not as sharp but that's easily replaceable. This product is made in China.

I bought them for my long hair cat. Work great! I even use it on my 5 pound dog to trim him.

Did not work at all. Wouldn’t even go through cat or dog hair.

Purchased for using to remove knots on long haired cat. Cheaper and flimsier than expected. Fall apart when using razor to try to remove knots.
