- Please pick up the soil sensor when you're going to water the plants, and insert it into the soil again (watering will loosed soils, caused gaps, and bring gas into the soil, those will affect testing)

We live in the Phoenix area where alkalinity in the soil needs to monitored for flowering plants, fruit trees and herb gardens. This device comes as a 2-in-1 moisture tester and soil tester, with an 8" probe. For the price point, you are limited to getting both readings at the same time, but the moisture and soil windows are larger enough, and tilted upward, such that they are easy to read. The soil testing mode goes from Acidic to Alkaline with various color codes in between. This allows you to understand how to balance fertilizer ingredients or nutrients to properly match the plant's requirements with the soil condition. I've tested this unit on +30 plants in our yard and garden, and made some adjustments in soil nutrients already. Keep in mind that the price point means this product may not have a long life, but kept clean and stored properly as a tool, it should work just fine to help manage your plants. We would recommend this product.

This dual meter works as it should and appears to be accurate for both moisture and ph. It feels well built and made with quality materials with a nice weight to it. The head is a little bigger than expected, but that’s good as it’s easy to read. It can take a few minutes to get a full reading so be patient, and make sure there’s a decent amount of moisture in the soil for the ph reading to work. The moisture reading is very fast.This meter has been incredibly helpful in getting my soil ph in the right zone for healthy plants. I’m glad I purchased one and I highly recommend it.

I recently purchased the AiGerdinn 2 in 1 test meter. I have many indoor plants an struggle with watering in the winter. My home is heat mainly by wood stove which cause me to water (or over water) more often. This little gadget works pretty good and appears to be pretty accurate allowing me to water my plants properly. I haven't really paid attention to the ph readings yet, so I can't comment on that. Over all its a good price, easy to use and simply works. I would recommend for anyone who struggles in the cold months with plants.

Here it is sitting in a full gallon of water and it says its dry. The ph meter always says its between 6 and 7. Thought this would be nice cause it was cheap and didnt need batteries. Dont waste your money on it.

I purchased a two in one soil meter because my house plants seem like they were not doing well. I received it in a few days and it has been wonderful. This soil meter helps me to detect the moisture level and not only that the acid and alkaline level, which is really helpful. My plants are thriving now. I would recommend everyone purchase this product even if your plants are doing well. It really is a wonderful guide and helps to improve your plants condition.

Moisture tester works well. The pH tester sometimes works but I wouldn't rely on it as you could do more harm than good. Tested it with other and once in a while would be accurate.

I needed to know when to water my african violets so as not to overwater them. This tester works great and is easy to read. I like that you check the moisture and the ph at the same time. It works great. I would purchase again.

This has kept me so in tune with my plants. I use to water too much not know when to water and this makes it so much easier. I have less yellowing and droopage. I even had to recommend to my best friend.
