I purchased two of these in different sizes, and this one fits much more comfortably in my hand. I got it for late-night walks from my car to class on campus. The light is strong, and the zapper seems very effective

I loved the design of this flashlight/Taser combo and it fits in my hand just right. But the Taser lasted one month and stopped working. That's allot of money for a flashlight only-- that's the only thing that works! Don't buy!Update- I contacted the company Pain Safari about my Shockwave Torch Stun Gun & Flashlight. They were so nice to offer me another stun gun free of charge! I was so pleasantly surprised to have a company care about its customers satisfaction!

Unfortunately I bought this item with high hopes. I am a small female who doesn’t have access to a car and walking is my only way of transportation. In hopes for feeling safer I bought this but after 36 hours of charging it’s still not working. After the first 10 hours, I had unplugged it and tried to use it and when I saw that it didn’t work I thought that maybe I just needed to charge it longer, so I left it on the charger overnight and when I woke up the light was still red and nothing happened. At that point I started to feel frustrated so I left it on the charger even longer and still nothing. It had great potential. And without access to a vehicle, I can’t go to return it. So it’s a waste of my money and time.

I bought two of these in different sizes. This fits better in my hand. I bought it for late night walking from my car on campus. It had a good light and the zapper appears strong. I personally have not zapped myself, but the sound is frightening.

It's made to last and a great design material wise but failed to function after the first 2 times I turned it on. Very disappointed because it's great quality on the outside.
