I have a 1968 Ford Mustang and was unable to rotate its rear left wheel. The brakes were unresponsive, and the drum was fused on. I tried hammering it and hitting it the best I could from the back. The drum did not have the option to remove it by using a bolt. This tool ended up being a little too small, but I was able to place the claws at a point just before they would fall off their support and it was able to pry the drum off along with me hitting the drum with a hammer.I'm so grateful to have found this tool, I wasted way too much time and frustration without it.

UpdatePulled another fan hub. Very few problems despite hub fighting me entire time.Getting heavy where on hex head of jack shaft. Won't be long until unusable. Use of impact wrench is discouraged./updateCheap.Flimsy.Difficult to use.Other than that, I did get that @#$% fan hub pulled off.

I bought this to pull a stuck multi-groove pulley off the motor shaf of my drill press. When I assembled the puller I thought the fit of the threaded screw in the puller body was sloppy and would strip out under pressure bu I was wrong. Even using an extension on the socket wrench I was using didn't strip it. The pulley finally broke instead. This is a good tool even though it is made in China.

Pulled off the pulley/bearing and the coil separately from my A/C compressor. Bearing/pulley are very difficult to remove if rusted (mine was) and coil is pressed on. This puller allowed me to remove these parts without removing compressor from the engine ( 02 F150 V8 ). Puller rated at 2.5 tons of pull. I didn't need anywhere near that power. May try using puller to press on replacement parts. Yes I took a break after removing parts. I'm 72 and it's hot now (August ) heat index of 102 right now.
