Good for "higher current" wiring. Good Quality but I recommend a good crimping tool to make the best connections to wires for strength and firm connections.

These conectors are well made and easy enough to assemble. I chaose to solder the conductors to the metal connector pins. I am using 10 Gauge double insulated cable for outdoor burial The conductor fots perfectly but the red and black insulation will not permit the blue silicone cable selas to enter the connector body. I ended up using silicone caulking to waterproof the connector at the cable entry ends.I believe that these conectors are suitable only to 12 Gauge insulated cable.

There are no directions for putting these together, so you have to figure it out yourself. Being that I have put some of these together in the past was not hard to figure out that the female terminal went into the shorter plastic housing and the male terminal when in the longer plastic housing. Other than that, went together and connected together easy. I used Di-electric grease to make assembly easier and add another layer of water proofing.

Quality is good but getting 10 awg wire to work is challenging to say the least.

These 30Amp Metri-Pack Waterproof Connector Terminals work well on repairing older broken connectors or for adding in a connection point for a new component. You will need to have a special crimper to do a single crimp for both the wire and the seal, but it could be done separately with some ingenuity. Overall, these work as advertised.
