The actual “ring†batteries are like double in price. I have had these batteries in the cameras for at least two weeks now and still no issues. Ima say it’s a good alternative.

REVISED REVIEW FROM 1 TO 5 STARS!A self serving desing by Ring that didn't recognize the new batteries!EVEN IF YOU WIRE THE CAMERA YOU NEED A BATTERY OR IT WONT WORK!I inserted the original batteries & ring said 1 wasn't charged so for the heLLp of it I inserted the 2 new batteries, AGAIN, and they lit up like post Christmas trees... Longevity... we shall see! Best it can do with a sub camera!When you're wrong admit IT!!*******After fully charging & installing the batteries, the pic shows that you should get sumthin else!****

Very disappointing. Fairly last for two weeks. They were fully charged and yet two weeks later my doorbell percentage was down to 10%. Almost probably return these as well.

Seems to be fine. They charged up quickly. I’ve just put them in to replace the unit. I’ll let you know if they don’t last as long as the original ring but they seem OK.
