I bought these a short while back, to replace the batteries in my Midland walkie-talkies. These radios are for use during emergencies and always sit on a charger stand, waiting for that time. I test them periodically. I was recently surprised to discover that only one of the 2 radios will now turn on. I switched the batteries to be sure that it was not the radio. Sure enough, one set is completely dead. Tried switching charging wells on the charger, thinking that maybe one of the charge ports might be the problem, nope. Don't count on these batteries for an emergency radio unless you test them frequently, they don't have a long shelf life, even with constant maintenance charging.

These did the job bringing life back to my walkie talkies. They charge quickly and seemed to be holding up. Be sure you order the exact replacement battery for your system. These battery packs have alignment slots in them so it would be easy to order the wrong item. Be sure the picture matches what you have!
