The cast mounts weld very smoothly, doesn’t seem to have a lot of contaminants like most cheap cast parts. Easy to install, these are my go to chains on all the trailers I build.

I received these yesterday and welded the attachment piece to my trailer today. It went extremely well. Metal welded as good as could be expected.The price was great as well for end to end solution.

i was refurbing a little utility trailer that i had and decided to upgrade everything, including the safety chains. these are probably move heavy duty than my entire trailer, but i'll never worry about my chains holding up. My only complaint is they need to send extra cotter pins. you pretty much have to ruin them to get the clevis off so you can weld the holder. Not a big deal obviously but if they added a couple extra, or didn't assemble the whole thing prior to shipping it would make like that much easier

I welded these to the tongue on a 12' 7K dump trailer replacing grade 43 safety chains. The chains and hooks are much better than the original chains and hooks. I would definitely buy again.

Welded decent for what I had (flux welder) grinded some 45° angles for the sides that were welded. This is an outside trailer, so I’ll update on rust with pictures in a few months. Overall first impressions are excellent for the price.
