Appears to be BETTER THAN ORIGINAL belt that broke within weeks of light use when the edge of a throw rug caused roller to stop and belt popped before I could turn off the vacuum.Manual calls for part #571025101, but this belt seems thicker and longer than the original belt and works GREAT!Easy to replace after removal of entire bottom covers (6 screws.) Instructions are in the manual.Just make sure the plastic cover is FULLY seated in correct position before replacing the screws.Nice vacuum other than this weakness.

The quality of the belt is great. It fit perfectly on the vacuum, it works and haven’t had a problem yet after numerous uses.

Fits and works great. They're rubber belts without any cord or reinforcement so they don't last very long, especially with the heat they operate in. Good value for the price.

My vacuum seemed to not be sucking anything up, sure enough the belt snapped in half. These were a perfect replacement and now its working just like new. Apparently you are supposed to replace these every 6 or so months.

This review is to help in the search for a belt that is compatible with the original belt found on the Kenmore upright vacuum, DU1275.After 2 uses with the original belt, it broke. It took a while and some figuring out and ended up just having to take a chance.So, the above belt is slightly thicker, but all other dimensions seem to be the same or very close.The vacuum worked fine after installing the new, above mentioned belt. Only time will tell. if I get more than 2 uses out of it...it will be better than the original that came with the vacuum.

Was gifted an old not-working vacuum. Took it apart and realized it probably just needed a new belt. I was worried about finding ones that fit one so old. Figured I'd try these and they work perfect for my likely 15+ year old Kenmore vacuum that now works great!
