The lights are easy to install. I have two mounted at different heights. One is on a small shed which is about 9 ft high and it lights up nicely, it doesn’t go out as far as I had hoped in front of the light but lights up sideways well. The other one is about 18 ft up on a machinery shed and it lights up things well. So it does help if you can put it I would say at least 18-20 ft high. I am happy with both lights.

I needed to replace an old bulb-style fixture that had died and the design of this one intrigued me. It's winged shape casts the light in a wide oval pattern which would be ideal to illuminate a wide area in front of a building, like a barn, or off the end of my garage onto my driveway. It puts out a good amount of light, and the pattern is even. It it does cast a lot of light behind itself, so in wall mount applications there's a fair amount of wasted light cast back against the building, unless you angle it upward somehow.It was pretty simple to mount and wire up. I mounted it to the wall with 3 screws, but the the bracket can mount to a pole arm too. In fact, given the light pattern, a wall standoff arm bracket would be a good choice if the aesthetics don't bother you. There's a hollow compartment that you can use to makeup your connections, although you'll want to cut off some of the generous 18" cord pigtail to have enough room.It has an integrated photocell which is a nice feature, although I have it's circuit controlled by my home automation system to turn on at dusk and off at 10PM.Overall I like the light output and the design is unique looking. The light is even and isn't blindingly bright. I wish they had designed the LED lenses to cast the light more forward, but adding spacers to angle it upwards isn't too hard.

Like the amount of light but dusk to dawn feature no longer works stopped working a few months in. Very disappointed that they are always on. Wouldn't have spent the extra money to get lights that have the dusk to dawn feature.They sent me new lights to replace the current ones. They took care of the problem and it is appreciated. Won't probably install until spring and will give sn update then.

These lights are nice, especially for the price! I have (4) of these installed at around 13’ & they put out great light! They were simple to install & very light weight. I intend to purchase another (4) pack of these & my shop will be lit up like an operating room! I have these installed in a 24’x36’x12’ shop & they work great. I don’t necessarily need (4) more BUT I WANT (4) more…..
