This wrench is solid. It comes with 2 different handles with widths of rubber to tighten. Easy to slip through and clamp down. I needed to open my wide couplings on my salt cell to be able to remove it without stripping the threads. We, if you’re a female need no strength to use it. The handles have a rubber grip non slip. It does all the work. It’s a solid rubber wrench. Every household should have one on hand. I’m happy with my purchase.

Like others I used these to change out shower fixtures & found them to work great. Easy to use & most importantly...no damage to tub spout or fixtures. Am really happy with them.

The smaller wrench was perfect for installing a brand new bathtub diverter spout without doing any damage to the chrome finish. Much easier than other methods I have used to install these. Also great for removing the lids of jars that are stubborn. Good quality and sturdy design. Highly recommended!

Functional and good looking. Good value for the money. Beats several jar openers I bought that proved useless.

These are better than I expected for the price. The rubber is smooth on the inside of the loop but is very soft and grippy and can exert a lot of torque on clean, canister-type objects of sufficient diameter. The flexibility of the strap suggest that it might stretch, but it does indeed have reinforcement cords running lengthwise that limit the stretch. The object does not need to be cylindrical, and the strap can grip irregular shapes within reason. It should be noted that the object being loosened or tightened does need to have sufficient wall thickness to not crush under the compressive force of the band or the lever handle.I bought these for loosening threaded astrophotography accessories such as cameras and tube extensions that sometimes lock up due to the roughness of anodizing or slight thread galling. The rubber straps, as long as they are kept clean, provide a safe and non-marring grip on delicate parts.I did not try these on oily parts such as an oil filter, but I don't think this would be used for this purpose in most cases because the handle would get in the way.Another application that I see is for unscrewing whole house water filters that take a lot of torque and often break the supplied rigid plastic wrenches. The plastic handles seem adequate and when really torquing on a large immovable object I felt that it would be a toss up whether the handle, the steel link, or the strap would fail first. In other words it seems that the strengths of these components are balanced and overall the wrench is pretty well designed for reasonable use.

You wouldn't believe the amount of rigging I've done over the years to keep from buying a set of these simple rubber strap wrenches, and I wish now that I had gotten them sooner. These wrenches are just such a useful tool. They are great for changing oil filters, water filters and basically anything cylindrical that needs to be turned, without marring the surface. They are also great for getting stubborn tops off of jars, without damaging the delicate tops. Just be careful not to push the tool past its limits since this is just rubber that you are working with here. These are also very useful for anyone that does any plumbing work. They are the best tool that I know of for putting on shower heads, without marring them. I used to use pliers wrapped with a towel for this purpose, but this is so much easier, and less prone to accidental damage to the shower head. For how good the quality is on these wrenches, the current asking price seems reasonable, and I would say that this is a recommended buy.

Nothing special. I would not purchase had I know. Using a rubber band would deliver a similar outcome... The large one is slippery anh hard to handle if you have small hands. Ironically, it's people with small hands would more likely want to some helper like such gadget...

I admit, I bought these to open kitchen jars when my hands are hurting, a problem that is getting worse with age. I guess this makes up for the time I bought something intended to be used to open jars to deal with a small plumbing issue. On that note, I have experience with jar openers, and this is SO MUCH BETTER.These are really sturdy, easy to use, easy to adjust precisely, well made, just fantastic all around. I would recommend this to anyone trying to get good torque on something round or too untextured or too weirdly shaped to get a good grip on otherwise. It's great.
