If you're serious about lighting up an area, buy these lights. I converted the single bay of my 3-car garage into a wood shop and for those wood workers out there (or any fabricator) you know how necessary great light is. These LEDs are the best I've ever found. They're built like a tank. Solid medal construction with 18,000 lums. I purchased the 16" length model so you can attach them to your garage joists if they're 16" on center. My garage ceiling is 10' high and when I turn them on it's as if the sun just came on. Do they get hot? YES, but great light isn't cool. Are they more expensive than others? Yes, but quality doesn't come cheep.

During warm weather months we leave the pull-up doors open in our vinyl installation bay, but winter is coming. Those doors will stay shut most of the time, and we'll depend on artificial lighting, LED for the most part. That's been OK but not great, with some areas of the bay still dimmer than I'd prefer. Wow, these lights make all the difference! They're much brighter than expected, even if a bit cooler tone than the existing. To be honest, that's a good thing, as our other lights are warmer than they should be. These Aboviso shop lights are so good I'll be replacing the old ones so the light matches throughout. The swivel brackets make it easier to aim the light where it needs to be too. All-in-all these are wonderful lights for a work area.

WOW! What intensely bright shop lights. These should definitely fill the gap in lighting I have in my workshop.

I already have a light in my garage that is nearly identical to these, but which was more expensive, and which is rated at 22,000LM (where these are only rated at 18,000LM). In my attached photos, you can see a comparison of these lights side by side - with this light on the left, and the other (more expensive / slightly brighter) light on the right. The more expensive light has more LED's, and a higher power rating (200W vs. 140W for this set). But, that being said, I don't know that the difference in the amount of illumination between the two is enough to warrant the extra cost. Sure, the 22,000LM light is brighter, but I don't know that it makes that big of a difference. At the current sale price, these lights cost $32.50 each, whereas the brighter light is $50.The hardware that comes with the set of lights is also better than the more expensive light that I have. As you can see in one of the attached photos, the brackets will allow you to mount the light to a wall and put it at a complete 90 degree angle, if desired. That was not the case with the other light that I own.All in all, these lights are solid/well made, have good light dispersion, and good brightness. If they stand the test of time, in my opinion, they are a good value.

The light gives off a weird, discolored yellow hue - I use it in our crystal shop but I feel like it gives off a distorted coloring of the items. But just for a regular light in the garage would be great! Very bright and easy to install!

Upon unpacking the AB66/96B, the first detail you’ll likely notice is its substantial weight. Weighing in at over 3.5 lbs, this lamp is robustly constructed, showcasing impressive engineering. The heft can be attributed to the large heatsink located at the back of the unit, which plays a critical role in dissipating heat and maintaining performance during extended use. This powerful lamp boasts an incredible output of 18,000 lumens at a daylight-balanced color temperature of 6500K, making it an exceptional choice for applications requiring intense, clear illumination. With a wide illumination angle of 120 degrees, it effectively lights up broad areas, making it suitable for various settings, from workshops to outdoor events. See attached photos of my street with the light off, and again with the light on.I tested the fixture by plugging it into a 350-watt battery/inverter combo. At the operational load of 140 watts, the inverter managed the current draw effortlessly, demonstrating the lamp’s efficiency. Additionally, the lamp comes complete with mounting hardware, allowing you to securely attach it to any sturdy surface that can support its weight, providing versatility in placement. One important thing to note is that this lamp is extremely bright and is not designed to work with dimmers. Thus, users should be aware that it has two straightforward states: “On†and “Off.†Furthermore, while the fixture is designed to function in damp environments, it is crucial to ensure that the switch and plug are protected indoors from exposure to water and other environmental elements to maintain longevity and safety. One enhancement I would appreciate is the inclusion of a bracket for easy attachment to a heavy-duty tripod. This feature would significantly increase its functionality, making it an incredibly effective shop light and enhancing its versatility for various professional and creative applications.
