Super easy to assemble. It comes in a pair of two lanterns. It does not come with the cord or bulb, I ordered my cords from world market. It has a clean, natural, and chill vibe. It is paper so it will break if you don’t handle it properly. With my daylight bulb it feels like natural light even at night. I find that hanging lanterns work great for my small apartment since I don’t have table top ‘real estate’.

Really like the look of this lantern for above our dining table. It’s a really great budget alternative to the designer names. We paired it with a dimmable LED smart bulb which allows us to set a nice ambient glow. Be careful putting the pendant on the bulb, you have to finagle it around the metal interior support to fit a standard size bulb. The saucer shape is really appealing, I do wish it was slightly larger but for the price you can’t beat it!

These were exactly what I needed! I needed a paper lamp that wouldn't take up so much space in a small room like those big round lamps, so I opted for these and these are perfect! Great quality, easy to set up and looks beautiful with my Smart LED bulbs!

To fit a regular-sized light bulb through the top opening, you will have to release one side of the top wire brace, then insert your hanging bulb fixture, then fit the C-shaped wire portion of the brace around the cord, then reinsert the top brace. It's awkward and risks punching a hole through the delicate paper shade. If you're using an oval, chandelier-style bulb in your hanging cord fixture, you'll be fine. At the bottom, the glue around the seams creates an opaque area that looks cheap, but with the lamp on, it's not noticeable (see 2nd photo). One must be extra careful when expanding the lamp to insert the brace. If you "bow" the brace first, to make it shorter, it will fit, but you may feel like the shade is going to tear while you insert it. There should indeed be 2 entire lamps, i.e., 2 shades and 2 braces. Packed in an unnecessarily huge box, rectangular instead of a square box that would have sufficed just fine. Since I was surprised at how difficult it was to find a horizontally oval shade, I guess this is a decent price for the product, except that I didn't need 2 shades, so in effect I paid 32 bucks for 1 shade. The designer's eye wants what the designer's eye wants, sigh. Pay attention to the dimensions and disregard the website photo's scale; that's why I included 1 with a pen on it for scale. Had a paper lantern before that looked a lot cheaper before but this ellipsis shape for my dining table was much more elegant and sturdy. The pictures don’t do the beauty of this lamp justice, and I had no issue getting it installed. It just required a bit of finagling, as most paper lanterns do. It is a much more affordable option of the more expensive Noguchi style lamps

The wire spacers you insert into the paper lanterns (this was true for both of the lanterns) are not the correct size; they are too long to fit into the lanterns without bending. And since the quality of the wire is very poor, it bends very easily. Ultimately, the effect is that the shape of the lantern is slightly lopsided. It is also very easy to tear the lanterns as you try to fit this spacer into the lantern without bending it.Think about what you are paying $30 for here. This is literally a tiny bit of low-quality wire and thin paper. It can't cost more than a few cents to produce these, and they still couldn't bother to design them correctly. Such a scam. Amazon is now full of junk like this, and every time I make a purchase these days I kick myself for not looking elsewhere.

Good value. Came in perfect condition and overall easy to assemble. It’s a little hard to get the light positioned perfectly in the middle. The metal that holds the bulb can be a bit finnicky.
