Advantages of aluminum extrusion profiles

Exactly as described. Packaged great and not a scratch on any of them. They were able to be cut clean and smooth with my normal medium aluminum miter blade. The silver finish is sharp - unlike the black coated profiles, the scratches from normal cutting and building are practically invisible. The strength increase going from 2020 to 2060 is considerable, well worth the upgrade for my purposes.

These extrusions arrived quickly and were packaged with individual protective sleeves inside a cardboard box. The packaging was sufficient to provide good protection during shipment and there was no damage on arrival. They have a smooth and uniform satin finish, and the dimensional accuracy was good. One piece weighed 543 g and the other 546 g. There was a small residual bit of aluminum and a couple of very minor dings visible on one cut end as shown in the photo, but the residual tab came off immediately and these imperfections provided no structural or cosmetic issues at all.These T-slot extrusions are excellent for structural framing and making adjustable fixtures. The flexibility of T-slot extrusions is a great feature, and these 2060 pieces worked fine with standard T-slot fittings for which they are designed. It might be noted that these are specifically T-slot extrusions and are not suited for linear drive applications designed for V-slot trolleys. Overall these are good quality aluminum extrusions and should work well.
