I have been using these aluminum tubes for other purposes since my husband hasn't found a use for them yet in his woodworking hobby. I do trap-neuter-return (TNR) with feral cats in my neighborhood. This tube works well to prod the cat that's in a trap to move into a crate or carrier. It's a weird use, I know, but it works. :)

If the price is right this is a good deal. It's less than I would pay for at a big box store or my local hardware store. I used them to cut spacers for a project and I had no issue cutting them. Five stars from me. I hope this helps to make a decision.

There's not a lot to say about these, they're aluminum tubes. If you need tubes that are aluminum and are this size, then I expect they'll work just fine for you. They're also fairly inexpensive.

This tubing seems to be a valuable addition to my materials collection. It's easy-machining properties (6063 alloy), hefty wall thickness, and overall quality is more than adequate for my functional (versus decorative) project needs, such as making spacer-legs for a device. The two tubing pieces are precisely and cleanly cut to 300 mm length. However, potential buyers who want to use this tubing for decorative purposes may be a bit disappointed by the substantial number of nicks and scratches that I found on the sides of the tubes. For example, see the attached photo.

This is high quality aluminum tube stock. The aluminum has some minor scuffing and cosmetic marks from being milled as expected. but no deep scratches. The ends are relatively cleanly cut; there are no burrs on the outside, but the inside has a few small burrs which were easy to remove. In short, this is what I expect from generic aluminum tube stock.

These tubes are exactly as described in the product description. 300mm long, 20mm OD and with 2.5 mm thick sidewalls. Nothing weird about them. Nothing wrong about them. I have no way to test whether or not the alloy is 6063. Looking on the interwebs, it looks like 6063 is the alloy used a lot for extrusions. Makes sense to me, how else would they produce a seamless tube like this.

These aluminum tubes have a nice almost polished-mill finish, but you can still tell they’re extruded. There are little dings and scrapes from packing, handling and shipping so they’re not a perfect finish, much like other raw materials. I measured the OD at 20mm +/- 0.02mm, and the ID at 15mm +/-0.02 which I think is pretty dang close. They also seemed fairly straight, with no noticeable wobble when rolled on a table. I’m pleased with them.

These aren't those flimsy alum rods you pick up at the big name stores. They have a super thick 5mm wall which makes them incredibly solid and unlikely to bend under stress. The finish is smooth and free of any pits or blemishes and the ends have been cut smoothly and cleaned.
